“Yah man! Yahhhh!!
So I’ve decided I suck at blogging. I’ve got my hands in too many pots (including another blog) so I hope you don’t check this thing for daily updates from me
. Anyway since I’ve been gone here are the things I’ve taken notes of:
1. The new Jeezy album is phenomenal – The track “Circulate” by Cannon is bound to be a classic.
2. Folk music is still boring come weekend time. Almost in general too. I can’t picture myself sitting in a circle with the lights on nodding my head and thinking to myself, “How fun.”
3. To each his own…
4. First Ave is open until 4AM Monday – Thursday next week and we are planning a show (Stay tuned)
5. Hatchback’s new album Colors of the Sun is really really good – I suggest picking it up when it drops.
6. NO MORE BMORE REMIXES PLZ
7. Hot Hoops is a SWEET drinking game.
8. We need to throw an all ages party… period. Any suggestions for a venue?
9. Are there any girls that dig for music in this city other than digging up a tracklist from 89.3 the current? JW…
10. Number 10 on my list of notes I’ve taken or thought about is that 3OH!3 is one of the worst things in existence. I can’t wait to see more bands from the warped tour family branch out and do this type of music. Take notes from Telepathe instead plz

K that’s enough – Don’t forget birthday cake tonight at So Electric! RSVP to save some money: http://www.soelectricparty.com
Anthem Heart threw a party to celebrated the launch of some of their new clothing designs and collaborations at Vs Social Standard in Uptown Minneapolis. It was more wild than we expected – complete with a few (unfortunate) brawls outside.
The rest of the party was all smiles and rainbows!
WORN TO BE WILD: PARTY VIDEO
Big thanks to the Moon Goons for getting the dance floor jumpin’. It was an early Tuesday night, but we went through 15 cases of PBR and 3 party jugs of Vodka with the Redbull mixer. Vs Social Standard, The Moon Goons and Anthem Heart, know how to throw a party!

However, according to T-Pain silver & gold is a new drink that he made up. From what i’ve gathered, you have to mix both silver and gold Patron and drink them at the same time.
You can share you interpretations of the song in the comments, here it is so you can analyize it

Bird Peterson has a bit of a french-housey take on Silver & Gold, that isn’t to say that I don’t like it. In fact I think that it’s made it’s way into a few mixes of mine. If you are interested in what it sounds like here it is

I haven’t bothered to check if 20JFG posted this band yet but maybe they’re too busy deliberating on the major musical question of our times: Who is better? Crystal Stilts, Crystal Antlers, Crystal Castles, or Twin Crystals? Ze mind boggles, ya?
When I read that Mutators were from Vancouver, (which is where I am from), I secretly fantasized that someone from my old high school grew up to be cool and in a band like this but I’m pretty sure I have never met these people in my life. I hesitate to write anything about they sound because when I wrote stuff about Blank Dogs, dude from the band totally sonned me in the comments section and made me scared of the internet.
Mutators has a girl singer and a guy who plays lots of crazy guitar effects, so if I tell you it sounds like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will that make you want to listen to it more or less? God, I’m so bad at this. Just listen to them, okay. Record ships this week. I’ll get it for you if you ask me. Love, James.
Hey everyone! Hotel went great last night, but unfortunately there are no pics, because Josh has been AWOL for the past week. David rocked that shit like crazy and Tom showed us that he knows his way around six strings…uhh…i mean two turntables and a computer.
So today I dj set from Thomas Bangalter from a rave-type event in Chicago waaay back in the 90′s. Here’s what the flyer looks like.

If you click on the flyer it will start the download for the set and if you don’t trust us moon goons here is the direct link: http://ravearchive.com/images/stories/audio/Thomas_Bangalter_-_Live_at_We_1998.mp3
Using the magic of the internet I have made a feed of my upcoming shows that updates off of my myspace calendar, needless to say i’m pretty impressed with myself.
