Vita.mn, our favorite local Arts & Entertainment rag, threw its latest super sexy summer Poolside Fashion Show at the Calhoun Beach Club last week.
Jahna Peloquin of Eclecticoiffeur went to Cliche to pull a hand full of super recent ANTHEM HEART clothing designs and remixes to style into the show. Ahhh poolside fashion: pants…who needs em! I heard there was a “local celebrity” pool toss planned for after the show, too bad the MOONGOONS weren’t available.
Wow so did you read about this on BBC yet? That’s fucking awesome! Imagine trying to go down there and being like “I come in peace” and then they just shoot you with an arrow and eat you. I wonder how they will approach the tribe? Crazy.
Anyway I’m bummed I couldn’t go see The Presets tonight at first ave so if you went I hope it was really awesome. Please tell me about it.
Then before I dig into an actual post I wanted to say Heavy Metal in Baghdad went off at the triple rock. Big ups to VICE for helping us do that and Triple Double for supplying the venue. Also Benny Benassi was wild last night. It was such a weird crowd but deff a fun one. Big ups to Sound In Motion for everything with that. Jonathan played four Justice tracks and I played three bmore remixes about girls (LOL). Pictures from both events will be up after our big party at Barfly tomorrow.

So my post today… Little twist off of the ever so popular and ever so highly used High Powered Boys (Surkin & Bobmo) track – Get Down (DJ Ayres Party Edit) which is a mashup of Paul Johnson and High Powered Boys. I love these simple tracks. They are way too catchy and way too easy to mix in .
Next track is an older one by Thomas Bangalter. I’d love to throw this track in around the 2:20 mark. Simple and catchy, I’m going to try to play this tomorrow at So Electric. We’ll see. Enjoy it anyway.

Ah yes my children! This is just a hint at what is about to come. ELECTRIK SUICIDE and The Moon Goons are in the works of teaming up and causing visual chaos. Chaos so painful and full of sorcery that you will need to rip your own eyes out. I don’t really know what that fucking means but the bottom line is we are about to bring you a lot of visual goodies. From monthly art video mashup podcasts to desktop wallpapers, clothes, and zines. We’ve got tons in the works and this is just a hint at what is about to come.
